4016 Garage ADU Conversion

 

Completed in 2024, this existing 2-car garage built in 1932 was redesigned and permited as a 420sf studio ADU. The new studio maximizes an open floor plan with a murphy bed to facilitate long-term tenants as well as being an overflow space for the main property residents.

Building within the existing structure and framing proved largely cost-efficient with minimal foundation work.
